Sharing the Slopes
As the weather turns colder and the slopes begin to pile up with fresh layers of snow, many skiers and snowboarders are preparing to head to their favorite spots for another season of winter fun. This year, Polarmax is partnering with Snowsports Industries of America to encourage participation for those who haven’t had the opportunity to experience the thrills of skiing and snowboarding quite yet. This is being accomplished through a dual focus on education and encouragement.
Since January is ‘Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month‘, Polarmax wants to be out front in helping to raise awareness of the many opportunities and resources that go along with the program. With everything from tips and tutorials to nearby resort locations, first-timers can gain a greater confidence in preparing to tackle the challenges of their first downhill adventure.
You can do your part as well! In conjunction with Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month, the ‘Bring a Friend‘ initiative encourages experienced skiers and riders to invite their friends to hit the slopes. Prizes and rewards are available for those who get family and friends to sign up for lessons from professional instructors. As we gear up for another great year, opportunities are all around for getting involved and helping to spread the word.
