Why Compression?
You know those butt-hugging pants pro football players wear? The ones that have transformed sulking football widows into pom-pom waving, Sunday football watching freaks? Well, our head guy at PolarMAX®, Randy Black, happened to invent the whole category of body-squeezing, compression sports wear.
Football players used them first to keep their hip and thigh pads in place and to support their highly valued groin, hamstrings and abs. The NBA soon caught on and today, compression wear can be found on the courts, slopes, ramps, trails, ball fields and in the gym.
So, what’s the attraction?
- Graduated compression and support helps keep blood flowing to reduce fatigue. So you can go out there and abuse your body even longer.
- It helps keep you in the action, by reducing the odds of pulls to your abs, ham and groin muscles, and other ones that say “hey, remember me?” after you stick some large new move.
